The 2019-2020 South Coast Branch Surf Sports Calendars is now published and live. As these is a living documents and updated at regular intervals it is recommended that you update your information on a regular basis from the documents respective websites.
The Surf Sport Committee also ask clubs for EOI (Expressions of Interest) if they
intend on hosting carnivals or ocean swims so they can add to calendar, this
calendar will be updated as required.
Attendance at these Development Days are not compulsory, but highly desirable.

Surf Sports Event Information
2019 Sydney Water Surf Series
One of the major competition events on our calendar is the Sydney Water Surf Series. This series is an initiative of South Coast & Illawarra Branches. It is competition at a high level and all clubs are encouraged to participate. Generous financial sponsorship from Sydney Water gives the series credibility and prestige. We look forward to the competition this event generates.

The annual InterBranch Championships for 2019 will be held at Bulli SLSC on Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th, December 2019.

The Kiama Downs SLSC will be holding a Junior Carnival on the 4th January, 2020 at the Kiama Downs SLSC.

2020 NSW Country Championships
As one of the biggest events on the surf sports calendar, the 2020 NSW Envirobank Country Surf Life Saving Championships will be held in February 2020. Cudgen Headland SLSC will host the event.

2020 NSW State Surf Life Saving Championships
The 2020 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships will return to Blacksmiths Beach, Swansea Belmont SLSC

2020 Australia Surf Life Saving Championships
Surf Life Saving Australia has confirmed that the Gold Coast’s Broadbeach SLSC and North Burleigh SLSC, Queensland will host the 2020 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships from 18th April through to 26th April 2020.

TBA 2016 Tilbury Classic Ocean Swim
The Tilbury Classic is a spectacularly beautiful swim around a beautiful headland through some fascinating water, with lots of life, swells surging over reefs, etc. It's a lot of fun.

TBA Trans-Tasman Tri Series
In 2016 the NSW Country Team will be competing in the Trans-Tasman Tri Series. The team will compete against SLSNZ Northern Region and Central Coast Branch over three rounds of competition to be held in the South Coast Branch.
